'Overwatch' Latest Updates: New Hero Sombra Mystery Image Leaked

The multiplayer video game "Overwatch" was released on May 2016 by Blizzard Entertainment. This game calls for characters both old and new. In line with this, new characters will soon be released for "Overwatch."

Last November 1, at 8:00 pm EST, LumeriCo power plant in Dorado, one of the maps in "Overwatch," was under attack. The plant eventually has a meltdown as its power meters reached 100%. This was believed to be the work of an outside hacker. Fans of the "Overwatch" presumed this as the revelation of the long-awaited new hacker hero Sombra, who is still a mystery.

However, according to PCGamer, examination of Sombra's message revealed a new "misdirection," redirecting to www.volskayaindustries.com. The "misdirection" may not be Sombra's end goal but the trail ends there.

The page still needs to be examined as it may reveal some secrets of the game. For now, the Sombra attack reveals nothing about the new hero in "Overwatch," making disappointing yet again fans of the game. But the image leaked, or uploaded more like it, on Blizzard's own site and posted on Reddit surely discloses the character.

Blizzard began a countdown timer and implied that there would be a revelation at the end. Indeed, this turn of events revolving the never-ending mystery of the new character Sombra and its abilities tugged fans around. Discussions say that the "Overwatch" fans will need to wait for the Blizzcon on November 4 for the Sombra revelation.

According to Engadget, the image named "fine art Sombra" was accidentally posted on Blizzard's store page and then the page was shut down. However, user Metalexe posted the leaked image on Reddit and was spread online. This ignited the discussion of online gamers. "Fineartsombra" has a striking resemblance to an image leaked before. It bears the Blizzard John Polida's signature and art style, making it legitimate.
