NBA News: Trade Rumors Suggest Golden State Warriors' Klay Thompson Move To Milwaukee Bucks For Khris Middleton And Jabari Parker

After signing decorated forward, Kevin Durant, trade rumors began to pile up for the Golden State Warriors, particularly for shooting guard, Klay Thompson. Speculations suggest a deal involving Thompson and power forward, Kevon Looney, in exchange for the Milwaukee Bucks' Khris Middleton and Jabari Parker.

According to the Gospel Herald, Thompson's teammates did not like the attitude he displayed after their loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals. Power forward Draymond Green even suggested shipping Thompson out of the Warriors.

In a report by Ecumenical News, with Durant now in the Warriors' roster, it is speculated that Thompson will be the first player to be traded by the Warriors. NBA trade rumors are currently eyeing a possible move for Klay Thompson to another NBA city.

The latest rumors suggest a trade between the Warriors and the Bucks involving Thompson and Looney for shooting guard Middleton and power forward Parker. The four-player deal is valid as far as the rules are concerned according to the ESPN NBA Trade Machine. However, are the two teams willing to seal the deal?

Until at least early in 2017, the Warriors are not likely to make any significant deals, according to a report by Inquisitr. During that time, the Warriors will have spent sufficient time with Durant, along with information as to the trajectory of the team with the four-time NBA scoring champion. The Warriors badly lost to the San Antonio Spurs on opening night 129-100.

If the Warriors will struggle later on in the season and consider the trade, Middleton would replace Thompson in the shooting guard position. Middleton is coming off a career year, and would make a good replacement if not for his health issues.

Middleton just had surgery on his left hamstring a month before the start of the 2016-17 season. He is expected to miss most of the games, if not the entire NBA season. It would be unlikely that the Warriors will trade Thompson for a player who will be out for a long period.

If not for the injury, the deal could have been of interest to both teams. Parker is a young talent who could play minutes at power forward and even center with the Warriors.

Although the deal is very unlikely to materialize, it does propose a fair value for both teams. It could weaken the Bucks' power forward spot, but acquiring a player of Thompson's caliber should compensate for it.

With the issues surrounding the trade rumor, it is just unlikely to happen. Nonetheless, it is definitely an interesting scenario worth a second look. Do you think this trade rumor will eventually come to being?
