Play-Doh Is Going Digital, Thanks To Apple; Watch How Play-Doh Can Bring Creations To Life

For years, Play-Doh has become one of the staples in children's toys. Kids and kids-at-heart have already made hundreds of shapes from the stretchy stuff, but now, since everything is digital, Play-Doh enters into the tech world via iOS devices.

Thanks to Apple, the classic Play-Doh has been given an innovative transformation and is called Play-Doh Touch Shape to Life Studio. The set includes seven cans of the usual elastic clay that is familiar to all Play-Doh fans.

Play-Doh Touch Shape to Life Studio also comes with characters stampers that can conveniently create Play-Doh characters, along with various tools and cutters to spend countless hours shaping different art pieces. Yes, the same toy still has a countless way to enjoy, and the only limitation is the players' imagination.

The great thing about Play-Doh Touch Shape to Life Studio is that players will be able to expand their creations through the Play-Doh Touch App. This means, players will be able to see their creations on a large, white canvas so that they can create another world with their own works.

When used with character stampers, special items and new environments will be unlocked. The app and the studio can actually scan anything made with the classic Play-Doh, which just made Play-Doh a technologically-advanced toy that even adults would enjoy.

This is done through the plastic, white tray that acts like a scanning surface. Using the iPad or iPhone camera, the Play-Doh creation can be easily scanned and be saved in the creation. The result is a semi-3D effect. Even the characters wiggle in motion, moving randomly in their own environment.

From being a simple game of creating shapes, Play-Doh becomes one of the most sophisticated toys even at 60 years old. Hasbro and Apple made excellent efforts to keep up with the trends without suffering the fun that Play-Doh offers for people of all ages.

Play-Doh Touch Shape to Life Studio arrives to Apple stores today. Grab them now or be left out from all the fun.
