'Steven Universe' Season 4 News: Steven Gets New Powers; Gem Harvest Features Lapis, Peridot’s Experiment

"Steven Universe" fans might have to wait longer for some updates about the show, but they can be assured that there are lots of exciting things ahead in the eighth episodes of the show's fourth season.

Fans are hoping that "Steven Universe" Season 4 Episode 8 will be aired in a few weeks. Series creator Rebecca Sugar hasn't helped alleviate the fan's growing impatience as she's been tight-lipped about what's to come in the following episodes.

However, reports about spoilers have been circulating around the web. And these spoilers' news have gotten a lot of fans excited. One of the news that has sent them abuzz is the eighth episode's premiere date, which is rumored to be on Nov. 25. However, nothing has been officially confirmed.

Other spoilers that have been reported is that the main character Steven will have "new powers." Chatt Sports Net reported that the half boy and half gem's said powers, which will be seen for the first time in Episode 8 entitled "Gem Harvest," can only be controlled by his aunts.

Meanwhile, Episode 8 will also reportedly feature an experiment from Peridot and Lapis Lazuli, who are trying to make some vegetables act like gems--walk, talk and do various activities like they do on a daily basis.

Additionally, a new fusion from Lapis and Peridot might probably be introduced sometime in the series. However, the said fusion, reports say, only takes place because of the gems' alleged "closeness," and that this speculation is likely since both gems are good friends now.

The full description of Episode 8 "Gem Harvest," from iDigital Times, reads: "Steven works his magic and makes a pumpkin come to life! Lapis and Peridot are disappointed that the newly-living beast doesn't immediately take to them, but Steven (unknowingly) helps the pumpkin bond with its new gem-owners."
