‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Star Giacomo Gianniotti Accidentally Spoiled the Midseason Finale; Could There Be An Impending Catastrophe?

It looks like we are in for a shocking "Grey's Anatomy" midseason finale.

Earlier this week while promoting for their next episode at the EW PopFest, the cast Kelly McCreary (Maggie Pierce), Jerrika Hinton (Stephanie Edwards), Jason George (Ben Warren), and Giacomo Gianniotti (Andrew DeLuca) played Three Rounds with Entertainment Weekly Editor-In-Chief Henry Goldblatt. The cast of "Grey's Anatomy" loosened up a bit and might even be a little tipsy, sharing their own personal stories behind the long-running ABC medical drama.

Afterwards, the cast was then interview by Natalie Abrams of EW for the upcoming midseason finale. They were asked to describe it in one word, here's what the cast has to say:

"Rubble," McCreary said. Gianniotti expanded on his answer: "There are certainly a couple long-coming truths that are revealed." "Complicated," Hinton added. And George ended it with "Justice."

What could this all mean? With Alex's (Justin Chambers) trial nearing, "justice" certainly sounds suggestive, but the word "rubble" sounded ominous with Grey Sloan's disaster record. This certainly feels like there's an impending catastrophe.

Moving along, if you are sensing some flirtation or feelings between Andrew DeLuca and Jo (Camilla Luddington), you're not alone. "They've gotten really close through this trial," Gianniotti says. "He's found a real friend in her, and through that, maybe something more than that has developed." However it's still uncertain if that is something to be explored in the show, but DeLuca definitely feels something for Jo.

The cast also revealed that we are to expect a younger Stephanie and learn about their core characters, eventually Maggie learns the truth about Meredith and Riggs, and much more!

"Grey's Anatomy" airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
