The Chinese-based handset maker, UMi recently released its latest market offering, the Diamond X. The Diamond X proves to be tough competition to other Chinese-based mobile phone makers, even other more established ones.

According to Phone Radar, UMi is known to release phones for its durability and toughness. UMI released a smartphone called UMi Hammer which is considered the strongest smartphone in the world.

This year, UMi released phones such as Rome X, Umi Touch, UMi London, UMi Max and UMi Diamond. Recently, the company released its newest addition, the Diamond X.

The UMi Diamond X is built with premium custom-made metal frame that is tapered on the edges of a dual cuved body. This design of UMi Diamond X provides exceptional grip when holding the device.

The UMi Diamond X comes with 5.0-inch High Definition display which makes it crisp and natural for ultimate viewing experience. The UMi Diamond X has dual T2X -1 glass giving the handset durability from a drop of 1.2 to 1.5 meters.

The UMi Diamond X phone is powered by 64 Bit MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor with clocking speed of 1.3GHz. UMi Diamond X also is coupled with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and ARM Mali-T720 GPU.

The UMi Diamond X runs on Android Marshmallow along with its pre-installed application. There is still no word if the device is capable of being upgraded to Android Nougat.

A 2650mAh Sony Li-Polymer 4.35 battery which delivers a standby time between 10 and 13 hours is what powers the UMi Diamond X. The device has 16GB of storage which can be expanded to 128GB via microSD card.

As added by Tech Facts Live, the UMi Diamond X is available in three colors. These color options are White, Gold and Black variants. Pricing details have yet to be made official, as well as its US release.
