Beyonce And Dixie Chicks Victims of Racism After CMA Performance

Beyonce and the Dixie Chicks opened the Country Music Awards last night and definitely brought the house down. The superstar diva teamed up with the country music stars to perform her song "Daddy Lessons." Everyone in the audience enjoyed the performance and a lot were seen clapping and dancing to the music.

The Dixie Chicks were wearing all black ensembles, while Queen Bey was donned in an overly-beaded champagne colored masterpiece by Melbourne couturiers J'Aton. She looked every inch the queen as Beyonce strut all over all the stage singing the song from her bestselling album "Lemonade", as reported by Huffington Post.

The team-up really garnered a buzz in social media and everyone was excited to see the collaboration. The Dixie Chicks have already been singing the song "Daddy Lessons" during their tour, so it is no surprise that it was the song they sang during the performance.

But not all fans were happy with Beyonce performing at the CMA's. The website for the CMA's received so many racist comments for Beyonce, and even the Dixie Chicks, who are big supporters of Black Lives Matter movement. TMZ reports that the website actually took down photos and videos of the performance of Beyonce and the Dixie Chicks because they were afraid of the backlash.

Some were not happy that such a huge pop star like Beyonce would grace the stage awards show for country music artists. Never mind that Beyonce is originally from Texas and even made a shout out to the Lone Star State before singing.

Everyone turned into a music critic as they proclaimed that the BET awards have never invited a country artist so the same should not be done for pop singers.
