Rami Malek And Bryan Singer From ‘Mr. Robot’ Is Set To Play As Freddie Mercury For Queen Biopic, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’

"Bohemian Rhapsody," the biopic of Freddie Mercury and his rock band Queen is set to be directed by Bryan Singer, co-star of Rami Malek in "Mr. Robot." Rami Malek is set to star the movie to play as Freddie Mercury.

The confirmation of Rami Malek's casting in "Bohemian Rhapsody" was done by Bryan Singer in an Instagram post.

"Bohemian Rhapsody" is being worked out by 20th Century Fox, New Regency, and GK Films to fast track the movie which has been developed for eight years now. And the latest update is that Rami Malek is set to play the lead role, and all "Mr. Robot" fans are excited, as reported by Deadline.

It can be recalled that the first casting for Freddie Mercury in "Bohemian Rhapsody" was Sacha Baron Cohen. However, he turned down the role when he got the chance to talk to one of the members of the band.

He revealed in an interview at "The Howard Stern Show" that he turned down the "Bohemian Rhapsody" lead role because "something amazing" was going to happen, said a band member of Queen. He asked what it is and the "Queen" member said that in "Bohemian Rhapsody" Freddie Mercury dies.

And Sacha Baron Cohen saw that there was indeed a great "artistic difference" as reported by EOnline. But, hoepfully, this isn't the case for Rami Malek from "Mr. Robot." Fans are already rooting for Rami Malek in the Oscar for the "Bohemian Rhapsody" biopic.

Rami Malek won Emmy's Lead Dram Actor award for "Mr. Robot, " and that's why everyone is rooting for him the Oscars. But this isn't his first on the big screen.

The "Bohemian Rhapsody" lead is also in "Buster's Mal Heart" and "Short Term 12." Bryan Singer, director of "X-Men," is set to direct "Bohemian Rhapsody."

The chemistry between Bryan Singer and Rami Malek in "Mr. Robot" is great, and fans are hoping they can bring this to the brig screen with "Bohemian Rhapsody" biopic.
