Parenting: Why Child-Rearing Is Humanity’s Greatest Task Ever

Parenting is often seen as a divine task. A task that is given by God in order to raise, create and present our children to the world in a fashion befitting our society and culture.

As a child, parenting was simply seen as raising adorable children, taking them on nonchalant strolls and having fun. When thinking of being a parent, the thought of it being stressful and aggravating was never an issue, according to an article on Business Day Online.

Parenting was simply seen as a task that was handed down from parent to child. A task assumed by every succeeding generation. However, any indication that it would be the most stressful part of one's life, was never given.

Parenting is tedious but also rewarding. It is a difficult job but it is also one of the most important tasks to be given to humanity. Raising a child is hard. You either get it right or you get it wrong. Consequently, everything that a child does is a reflection of how good of a parent yis.

Child-raising is a parent's responsibility. You will either raise him to become a contributor to the world or be an addition to its problems. These results reflect on how good of a parent you were and, hard to say, how terrible you might have been.

As an adult, the effects of parenting is slowly unraveled. People come from different backgrounds. How these people act and even think are largely influenced by the quality of parenting they were subjected to.

These people were raised in different environments that shaped their way of life as it is now. With the understanding that has been accumulated, in relation to an article on Education, creating an environment where a child can grow, learn and flourish, should be of the utmost importance.

As it stands, there is no perfect way of parenting nor is there a perfect parent. Parenting isn't part of one's educational system's curriculum, yet it is one of the hardest tasks to be tackled by each and every one of us, for it is the generation's responsibility to raise the children of the future.
