‘Avatar 2’ A Breakthrough In Technology: To Be Shown In 3D Glasses-Free Soon?

"Avatar 2" production is now under way! James Cameron, the creator of "Avatar," is planning to release "Avatar 2" in glasses-free 3D in 2018.

Now, if James Cameron, of "Avatar" sticks to his word to push through in making "Avatar 2" into 3D without the 3D glasses, watching movies will never be the same again. Cameron made true to his word to showcase a 3D experience with the release of "Avatar" in 2009, which has been a breakthrough in itself, and is still one of the highest-grossing movies ever. According to sources, this has put much pressure in Cameron to top and even outdo his first project with its Sequel, "Avatar 2".

According to Engadget, Samsung released its Samsung SUHD 8K, with glasses-free 3D feature. But we still have to wait for this development to happen on the big screen. If this breakthrough in technology happens, movie watching experience will never be the same again.

According to American Academy of Opthalmology, 3D digital products should be avoided for people with depth perception issues and impaired vision, as this will cause side effects such as headaches or tired eyes. Wearing contacts may save you and will actually make your 3D experience tolerable but it will leave your peepers sore for some time.

The movie "Avatar" is created, written, directed and produced by James Cameron, about the existence of alien species Navi, which resides in Pandora. In a review from Rolling Stone, it was stated that Cameron has initiated the extension of vast possibilities of what and how a movie could be with producing "Avatar".

Cameron certainly raised the bar in making the movie "Avatar." And now, expectations are high with its upcoming sequel "Avatar 2". Cameron is nervous about this, according to Cinema Blend but is determined to put his ideas to the big screen.

It's going to be a long wait before we finally see this development, as the "Avatar 2" is set to be released on December of 2018. What's your say in this story? Share your thoughts in the comment section below!
