'Longmire' Season 6 Spoilers: Fans Prefer A Donna-Walt Wedding In The Finale, EP Promises To Deliver A 'Dynamic And Satisfying Conclusion'

Earlier this month "Longmire" viewers made noise so Netflix will renew their favorite TV series. The network actually did but announced that "Longmire" Season 6 will be the last adventure of Walt Longmire and the gang in the small screens.

Before Netflix officially announced "Longmire" Season 6, Parent Herald reported that Walt Longmire will return for another season. Based on the announcement pattern, it took 2 months for Netflix after Season 4 ended to announce that "Longmire" Season 5 is renewed. The same pattern applies to "Longmire" Season 6.

Unfortunately, "Longmire" Season 6 is also set to be the final run in the series. Per Movie News Guide, the last season of "Longmire" will include 10 episodes.

At the time, there is little to no detail as to how "Longmire" Season 6 will wrap up. There are rumors that Walt Longmire and Vic will get married in the "Longmire" finale.

However, not all "Longmire" viewers, especially those who read the books support the Walt and Vic end game. In fact, some want the Doctor Donna Monaghan for Walt instead. Walt and Vic's relationship in "Longmire" is vague and the audience wants to keep it that way as they see the doctor and Walt in a more romantic light.

For most "Longmire" fans, the Vic and Walt Longmire wedding is not a good finale. Majority of the viewers prefer Donna for Walt. At the time, it is still too early to tell if Vic and Walt will see their forever together in "Longmire" Season 6 but definitely a Donna and Walt wedding is more preferable for most.

Per the Hollywood Reporter, the "Longmire" creators are grateful to Netflix for giving them the opportunity to air "Longmire" in the small screens. "Longmire" EP Greer Shephard, Hunt Baldwin and John Coveny promise to deliver a "dynamic and satisfying conclusion" in "Longmire" Season 6.
