‘Valerian’ News, Rumors & Trailer Update: Official Posters Released! Dane Dehaan & Cara Delevingne Labelled As ‘Mr. & Mrs. Smith’ In Space

"Valerian" short for ""Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets" Is a much anticipated film in 2017 where viewers are teased by its slowly revealing updates. The movie director Luc Besson when asked to comment on how would the movie look like, simply said that it would be a Mr. & Mrs. Smith set on the outer space.

There would be more joking and fighting on the story. Valerian played by Dane DeHaan of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" and Laureline by actress/model Cara Delevingne of "Suicide Squad" are completely human, who are both space cops. Their endless fights against each other would be like Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt's scenes on "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," says Collide.

Rumors had it, that the tandem of Dehaan and Delevingne might be incomparable to Jolie and Pitt. However, the visionary director Besson would vouch that the film would appear to be more like Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

"Valerian" focuses on the story of the two space cops in the wonderful city of Alpha where they have to battle not only against each other, but also against some enigmatic forces trying to alter the city. Fans gone wild in excitement when just before the New York Comic-Con, new posters and images related to the film was made public. Thus giving the "Valerian" cast and crew a hint that the movie will succeed.

According to Entertainment Weekly, This action-packed film "Valerian" would be filled with spectacular display of graphics as its comic counterpart describes it. The director said that this film have only been just a dream to him and now its close to the big screen, and they wouldn't fail our expectations for this star-studded film.

Also featured in the film are singer/actress Rihanna, Clive Owen, Ethan Hawke, John Goodman, Herbie Hancock, and Kris Wu. The film is confirmed to show in the big screen on July 21, 2017.
