'Bones' Season 12 Premiere Date, Spoilers & Update: Stephen Fry Reprises His Role, Emily Deschanel Hints At Sad Ending! Tragic Storyline Revealed?

The latest update on "Bones" Season 12 confirms its premiere this coming January 2017, and spoilers have indicated that fan favorite Stephen Fry who reprises his role as Gordon Wyatt will be back for the series' final season. The first episode, coming this January 3 is titled "The Hope in The Horror", and will be directed by none other than Emily Deschanel herself, who also hints at a sad ending for the series. 

International Business Times confirmed that Fry will back and even showed a Twitter post of David Boreanaz showing Stephen Fry on the set. Will Gordon Wyatt still be a chef or has he gone back to being a psychiatrist? Other confirmed guests for "Bones" Season 12 are Betty White, Eddie McClintock, who dated Dr. Temperance Brennan for a short while.

Fans have a lot of storylines to look forward on "Bones" Season 12. The wedding of Cam and Arastoo will be happening in the final season. Another thing that needs to be seen is what has happened to Dr. Brennan. In the season finale of "Bones" season 11, Brenna and her team were chasing serial killer The Puppeteer. At the end of the episode, they realize that they know who it is. Brennan is then kidnapped, and the next thing we see, she was being woken up by Dr. Zack Addy, her former intern.

For those who are not familiar with the character, Dr. Addy, played by Eric Millegan, was a former employee at the Jeffersonian, who is now imprisoned in an asylum. A brilliant scientist, he was manipulated by main season 3 antagonist the Gormogon, and now it seems that he will be playing a big role in "Bones" Season 12.

All clues the team lead to Zack being the Puppeteer. Reports say that he will kill one of the main characters. Does that mean that either Booth or Brennan die at the series finale? This seems to support the statement the Emily Deschanel said that a sad event is happening in "Bones" Season 12.
