Samsung LATEST Update: Its Bendable And Foldable Smartphone Will Be The First Of Its Kind Ever And Will Be The Most Coveted Device!

Samsung patents its smartphone that has a foldable and bendable display. This is definitely another innovation that only Samsung promises to deliver.

According to Forbes, Samsung has been known to be the leader in cutting-edge technology on its smartphones. It is unfortunate, however, that the issue on Samsung Note 7 has somehow overtaken this reputation of the company.

Samsung being able to patent its first bendable and foldable display is one of its ways to reclaim its place in consumer electronics. Bloomberg has reported back in June 2016 that Samsung is working hard to have the foldable and bendable OLED displays to make it one step closer to reality.

On Sept. 27, Samsung registered for a patent in the US for an OLED which is known to fold and bend inwards. There were also two sketches that were filed. Since Samsung is working double time on having this smartphone be available in the market, it is rumored to be released Feb. 2017, but this is unconfirmed and far fetched.

Should this Samsung smartphone be available, it will a game-changer as no other mobile phone manufacturer has thought of the same idea. Since 2010, the Samsung bendable phone prototype has already been seen. Next year could be the year of its fruition.

As added by Patently Apple, Samsung's patent illustration presented a single view of a foldable smartphone with a rear view presenting a second mini display. In this Samsung phone, the camera and flash will be at the top most part of the device when it is folded over. This is to allow the user to take a quick photo using the Samsung phone without the need to unfold the device.

Samsung, it being a tech giant has all the machinery to make this smartphone become a reality. As earlier reported, Feb. 2017 release is most likely not going to happen. This Samsung phone may come a little late. One thing is certain, though, that upon release, this will be one of the most coveted devices worldwide.
