Mom Uses Humor To Discipline Kids To Clean Up, Closes Room Until Thanksgiving [PHOTO]

Disciplining children to clean up their own mess is a very difficult task. After all, they are very good at creating mess and yet they disappear when it is time to clean up.

No matter their age, children will always find joy in jumping from one activity to another and in the process create a big mess like this mother has realized. The same mom did not only found an ingenuous solution to her children's lack of cleaning skills but she also found popularity after her note became viral on the online realm.

Parents reported how Nick Denbow contributed to the newfound popularity of her mom when he posted her note on Twitter. Denbow's mother wrote, "This room has been cleaned for the holidays and is officially CLOSED until Thanksgiving."

The note has been retweeted 13,000 times and liked 30,000 times. However, their mom said special permission can be given for those who want to use the clean furniture and carpet subject to certain conditions. Mom strictly prohibited bringing of food and drinks in the living room during this time.

AOL said mom ended the note with a bang when she signed it by giving her kids choices as to how they can name her. She could either be referred to as the bill payer, Queen of their castle or even their chauffeur. She could even be the "Bossy b---- in charge."
