Apple iPad Mini 5 Release Date News, iPad Pro 2 Specs Unveiled: Will This Be The Last?

With fans clamoring for news on the much-anticipated Apple iPad Mini 5 release date and iPad Pro 2 specs, details are yet to be announced by the Cupertino tech giant. Although many are still speculating that Apple might be abandoning the line for good, reports suggest a March 2017 release date can be possible.

 In terms of specs, the Apple iPad Mini 5 and Apple iPad Pro 2 may sport similar features and may be released sometime during the first quarter of next year. There are many reasons to believe why Apple may altogether stop manufacturing iPad Mini 5, but some are still optimistic including well-known Apple analyst Ming Chi-Kuo.

 By looking at the latest upgrades of Apple products, fans should also expect the iPad Mini 5 to do away with the 3.5 mm headphone jack and start introducing the USB-C ports. In terms of the battery capacity of this new device, the Apple iPad Mini 5 may possibly be equipped with a similar battery pack as the iPad Mini 4.

Although none has been confirmed yet so far, fans are expecting to see major upgrades from iPad Mini 5 when Apple announces its release date. Based on similar devices available in the market today, consumers expect at least a minimum of 2 GB of RAM and an internal memory capacity of 13 GB to 128 GB.

With Apple preparing to launch the iOs 11 by 2017 as well, the iPad Mini 5 is expected to be powered by this new operating system. Together with an A10 processor, fans are awaiting for the new device to be a much better version of its predecessor, the iPad Mini 4.

According to Macworld, the new Apple iPad Mini 5 is projected to look better aesthetically as well, as the new device is going to be slimmer and sport a crisper look than iPad Mini 4.
