'The Affair' Season 3 Premiere & Major Spoilers: Alison's Dark Secret Exposed? Noah's Nightmare Continues

All new drama is expected to unfold in "The Affair" season 3 premiere. Spoilers and major updates have claimed that audiences will get front row seats as they watch how the show's four lead characters start their life anew after the riveting events of season 2.

Previous reports have already confirmed that "The Affair" season 3 will begin three years after Noah's jail sentence. As audiences already know, it was Noah's estranged wife, Helen, who was behind the wheel of vehicle that ended Scotty's life. To protect the mother of his children, the Solloway patriarch sacrificed his innocence and new found fame and pled guilty to a crime he did not commit.

Noah's lover, Alison, also had a hand in the accident, but her deep dark secret has been kept in silence when Noah took one for the team. "The Affair" season 3 will explore how Noah, Alison and Helen will go on with their lives as the ghost of their traumatic past continues to haunt them.

New reports claim that Noah's problems are far from over as he encounters a new enemy when "The Affair" season 3 premieres. It was previously confirmed that Brendan Fraser will be part of the season 3 cast, but no details have been released about his character.

TV Guide recently reported that Brendan has been casted to play a jail guard that will give Noah a hard time in jail. As the outlet claimed, the acclaimed author's encounter with Brendan's character proves to be very tormenting as he still feared for his life even after he served time.

Apart from Brendan, TVLine recently confirmed that "Desperate Housewives" alum Jonathan Cake will play the role of Furkat, a Brooklyn-based photographer who will be the apple of Whitney Solloway's eyes in "The Affair" season 3. Noah will also have a new love interest in Irene Jacob, played by French actress Juliette Le Gall.
