'iPhone 8' Rumors, Leaks & Update: Next-gen iPhone Revealed To Be Out Soon, Edge To Edge Display, Redesigned Just Like Xiaomi Phone?

iPhone 7 has already been released in the market last Sept. 7, 2016 and there are already speculations about the upcoming device from Apple. The iPhone 8 is expected to be released in 2017 with an edge to edge display and it will be different than previous models of iPhone. 

Perhaps, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s are essentially the same with the recently released phone of Apple, iPhone 7. It is quite some time when Apple has released a significant update for iPhone.

Yet, it cannot be said that such device is boring since Apple provides for the latest, not to mention greatest smartphone in the world. The company has not failed to give its users improvements such as performance and most importantly long lasting battery life.

In that case, users of iPhones are undoubtedly excited to have the latest Apple gadget. It is said that the Apple's iPhone for 2017, presumably and most likely to be called as iPhone 8, will offer its users new exciting features.

According to BGR, there will be a radical redesign for iPhone 8. Over the last few months, there are rumors saying that the new Apple will have an edge to edge display.

To add more credence to these speculations, there are researches made at Barclays Research which claims that the company will introduce new iPhone models with an entirely different form factor and that new model will be the iPhone 8 according to MacRumors.

Since the source is within the supply chain of Apple, there is a higher possibility that it is true. The research even claimed that it will have a curved 5 and 5.8-inch displays.

However, the current actual sizes of iPhones are from 4.7-inch to 5.5-inch and it has been said that this will not change much considering that the displays will be edgeless.

There is also a strong belief according to Barclays Research that iPhone 8 models will have curved displays. He also said that there are still no confirmations whether or not the home button will be placed underneath the display itself but there are many speculations with regard to that.

There are rumors saying that the design of iPhone 8 will be the same as Xiaomi having a slight bezel on the bottom. He also said that the OLED display panels will most likely appear, but on iPhone 8 Plus model.

The release date of iPhone 8 was not yet revealed. In the first place, there are no confirmations yet about iPhone 8.
