‘Life in Pieces’ News, Rumors & Updates: Andy Richter to Guest in the Sitcom

Three episodes had gone by after the CBS launched the season 2 of the "Life in Pieces" series. The viewers still get excited over the next episodes with the news spreading on the internet about the various stars who will be guesting on the show.

Recently in the "Life in Pieces" series world boxing champ, Victor Ortiz appeared in the show. And later the new Victoria Secret Angel, Jasmine Tookes, and now, another famous comedian star is set to join the sitcom-Andy Richter.

The American actor, writer and comedian, Andy Richter, will appear in one episode of the "Life in Pieces" show. Although its airdate has not been scheduled yet, ("Life in Pieces" is aired every Thursday at 9:30 pm).

The Variety reported that Richter will be playing the character of Julius Black in the "Life in Pieces" series. He is a middle school musical director who is described as a conservative theater aficionado and declines to include Samantha (Holly Barret) in the current musical stage performances.

"Life in Pieces" guest Andy Richter has been widely recognized as the sidekick of the show host-actor, Conan O' Brien. He is also part in a number of programs including NBC's "The Tonight Show" and TBS' "Conan".

Richter is also famous for his voice work in the "Madagascar" films as Mort-a cuddly and cute mouse lemur. Richter also starred in various sitcoms: "Quintuplets", "Andy Richter Controls The Universe", and now in "Life in Pieces" series.

The appearance of the 50-year old comedian in the "Life in Pieces" series is expected to boost the already high ratings of the show which, reportedly, has about 10.53 million viewers. This was just like his appearance in "Andy Barker, P.I" which recorded about 5.4 million TV viewers.

Critics of Rotten Tomatoes expressed their views with the "Life in Pieces" show's season 1 being an attempt to copy or perhaps, playing in the same grounds with ABC's "Modern Family". Will the appearance of the new guests of the show cover it better than any other show this time?
