Shannen Doherty Missing At The ‘Beverly Hills 90210’ Reunion; Luke Perry And The Rest Pay Tribute

Last November 12, 2016, at the REWind Con, the majority of the original cast of the hit 90's show "Beverly Hills 90210" gathered together for a reunion. However, one very special person was not able to attend - Shannen Doherty.

Shannen Doherty played the character of Brenda Walsh in "Beverly Hills 90210" along with Jennie Garth, who played Kelly Taylor her frenemy in the series. According to Us Weekly, Shannen Doherty was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2015 but kept it a secret until August of the same year, she was 45 years old then. After letting people know about her condition, Shannen Doherty, bravely faced her sickness and documented her battle with cancer via social media.

One of their co-stars at "Beverly Hills 90210", Luke Perry, was also there at the reunion and paid a tribute to Shannen Doherty, saying that none of them will be there without Shannen. He played as Dylan, Brenda's partner in the series.

Luke Perry reminisced about their memories during their "Beverly Hills 90210" days speaking only good things about Shannen Doherty. He mentioned her [Shannen] being good at being Brenda, the character Shannen played with him.

Luke Perry added that Shannen has taught him many things during their times together. He said that, as of the moment, Shannen is not doing really well right now and that she [Shannen] has been through many things that sometimes her contributions were not recognized.

Meanwhile, according to Hollywood Life, Shannen Doherty's co-star Jennie Garth also showed her support via social media posting an image with the words "Fight Like A Brenda", and had captioned it with a short but meaningful message for Doherty.
