‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 8 Episode 5 Spoilers: Will Stefan Kill Damon?; Salvatore Brothers' Relationship Tested!

The upcoming episode 5 of "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 teases an exciting twist on the arc of the lead stars, Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder). It seems that Damon has gone out of control and Stefan could no longer allow his brother to continue his destructive behavior. The synopsis for episode 5 of "The Vampire Series" season 8 titled "Coming Home Was A Mistake" reveals that Stefan was left with no choice but to make an unexpected decision that can harm and change his relationship with his brother, Damon. Apparently, Stefan could no longer take the actions of Damon, where the latter seems to be spiraling down a self-destruction path. The synopsis further teased that things may get worst with Damon and that it might also seem too late for him to recover from this dangerous path.

The promo video for the upcoming episode 5 of "The Vampire Series" further highlighted this worsening status of Damon. The clip begins with Damon threatening how he might bury each one of them too.

The clip also detailed Stefan's decision. Unfortunately, things are already beyond control and Stefan confessed to Caroline (Candice King) his decision to eliminate his brother. Stefan told Caroline that the latter might not forgive what he has decided to do against his brother. Stefan further detailed that his decision might result to him losing a brother. The episode 5 of "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 is yet to unveil how Stefan will attempt to take down Damon.

However, the synopsis also mentioned that Stefan is not willing to give up on his brother. Although he will be forced to take drastic actions to stop Damon from his destructive behavior, there is still no guarantee that Stefan can actually afford to take the life of his brother. Is Stefan really planning to kill Damon?

Furthermore, the trailer for the upcoming episode of "The Vampire Diaries" teases Stefan was closing a casket, while not revealing the identity of the person inside the coffin. This seems to be teasing the death of Damon.

On the contrary, rumors also believe that Elena (Nina Dobrev) could possibly be the dead person inside the casket, as fans of "The Vampire Diaries" know that she was cursed to fall into a deep sleep until the death of Bonnie, Christian Today reported.
