Pangu To Release iOS 10 Jailbreak Tool In December? iOS 10.2 Update Already In The Works

Finally, Pangu is reportedly releasing the much awaited jailbreak tool for the iOS 10 before the year ends.

It has been a long drought for iPhone users who have been waiting for a new iOS jailbreak tool. However, with Apple's frequenting rollouts of updates, jailbreak teams have reportedly been having a hard time. But now, rumors emerged that the jailbreak team Pangu will be releasing a jailbreak tool for iOS 10 next month.

Apple is reportedly beta testing iOS 10.2 already, with plans to release it in December. With that, Neurogadget reports that hacker group Pangu will try to immediately release its iOS 10 jailbreak tool before Apple rolls out the latest operating system.

iOS 10.2 is expected to bring in major bug fixes, new features and security updates. If Pangu, or other jailbreak teams, did not release what tool they have for the current iOS versions, iOS 10.2 update would likely bring them major setbacks again.

Meanwhile, other reports suggest that Pangu already has the jailbreak tool for iOS 10 ready. However, it wants to wait for the iOS 10.2 update before releasing its jailbreak tool to the public for some reasons. Unfortunately, these are still speculations and no official confirmation came from Pangu.

As of now, the latest jailbreak tool available for Apple devices is for iOS 9.3, which would likely no longer work if the tech giant has stopped supporting with the older versions. Aside from Pangu, other groups have claimed to have successfully jailbroken the iOS 10, including Todesco. Still, no jailbreak tool has reached the public.

Meanwhile, iOS 10.2 update's new features will include a list of popular new emojis, such as Rolling On The Floor Laughing, Face With Cowboy Hat, Clown Face, and Lying Face. The update will also bring Apple's new TV App, which will serve as a user's guide to the most popular shows. New screen effect in Messages, Emergency SOS and new wallpapers are other things to look forward to in the upcoming iOS update, per BGR.
