Xbox One Is Beating The PlayStation 4 In Sales; Microsoft Project Scorpio Is Expected To Outsell The PS4 Pro

The Xbox One is reportedly kicking out the PlayStation 4 when it comes to sales in the United States for several months now particularly the Xbox One S. This may seem that Sony might need to do something to improve the PlayStation 4 features and not just its physical looks.

In a report held by the Mobi Picker, it is pretty obvious why the Xbox One is outselling the PlayStation 4. We are talking as a whole and not just a specific model.

It was said in the report that one of the reasons why the PlayStation 4 Slim is not as hot as the Xbox One, it is due to the fact that there are countless fans already have the PS4. No one wants to buy a new console that the only big difference is the physical looks.

Unlike the Microsoft's Xbox One S, it has been a massive hit since its release due to its Blu-Ray feature. Buying a separate Blue-Ray player would be more expensive than buying the Xbox One S that can play Blu-Ray that can also be used to play great video games in just one device.

As far as we all know, the Sony PS4 dominated the market 2 years ago, but it seems the wheel is now losing its grip. Microsoft is now taking over the highroads of the video game industry in mid-2016, and as The Sixt Axis reported, since the release of the Xbox One S, PS4 has been stepping down off the ladder.

The aggressiveness of the Microsoft company leads them on top of the sales profit as of today. Since the release of the Xbox One S, with the help of their massive marketing efforts, everything is obviously paying off for them. Microsoft released a massive promotional bundle for the Xbox One S with a couple of discounted price and free games, which brought them a lot of sales over the past months.

On the other hand, the PlayStation 4 Pro seemed to be fighting its way on top as of the today. Sony might need to extend their efforts of marketing the PS4 Pro or they might found themselves stuck behind the upcoming Microsoft Project Scorpio that is known to be much powerful with its 6 Tera Flops processing power capable of 4K gaming while retaining the Blu-Ray feature.
