‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 Spoilers: Rick As The Silent Hero And His Revelation

The 85-minute episode of "The Walking Dead" tells us a lot about Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln). Rick also confirmed one long-standing theory that fans had been waiting to be revealed.

First stop, the revelation is that, indeed, Rick (Andrew) isn't the father of Judith. Her birth father is Shane (Jon Bernthal).

The scene marks a first in "The Walking Dead" as this is the first time Rick admitted that he knows he's not Judith's biological father. The revelation to Michonne (Danai Gurira) is a way to understanding Rick's psyche.

Andrew Lincoln stated that Rick's character is reflected in this situation. He's a hero, a silent hero, that had kept this secret for a long time to save the people he loves, Lincoln said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

Is the revelation "The Walking Dead's" episode because of Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) arrival in Alexandria? Is Rick in fear and he thinks he needs to put down all the weight he's carrying?

This could be, but his submissiveness to Negan (Morgan) along with revealing Judith's real father could be "The Walking Dead's" way showing Rick's different facets. The strong but submissive hero in the show, Vanity Fair reports.

"The Walking Dead" hero also understand that if he takes a swing at Negan (Morgan),everyone will die. Rick knows and understands that he must save the people of Alexandria from death instead of just fighting against Negan.

With these parallel analysis of "The Walking Dead's" character, it's evident that Negan is staying in the Safe-Zone for some time. Rick already gave him the go signal on leading the people.

Does this mean TWD fans will have to suffer another main character's death? Everyone's hoping otherwise. Fans hope that Rick's coming up with a plan soon.
