Taylor Swift-Katy Perry Feud: What Did Taylor Swift Say To Andy Cohen When He Referred To Katy Perry As Her Friend?

Andy Cohen shared in a new interview that he made himself look stupid and possibly having Taylor Swift hate him for life after he forgot that she and Katy Perry are feuding. He said that he referred to Katy Perry as Taylor Swift's friend during an event and the "Blank Space" singer was not happy at all.

Andy Cohen recently penned a new memoir entitled "Superficial: More Adventures From the Andy Cohen Diaries." He shared in the memoir that he and Taylor Swift crossed paths during the 2016 Met Gala and he has the juiciest story to tell as he noted that the "Style" singer did not even smile when he mentioned Katy Perry, Huffington Post reported.

Andy Cohen and Taylor Swift exchanged pleasantries during an after-party following the event and he wrote that he was waiting for Lady Gaga to perform with Mark Ronson when he and Bryan Lourd bumped into the ex of Calvin Harris by the bar. He then shared in his interview explaining the meeting that he felt like he needed to say what he did maybe because he was trying to audition to get into Taylor Swift's squad. He added, "I innocently said exactly the wrong thing to her, which was: 'Your friend Katy is sitting in the corner and there's plenty of room around her.'"

Taylor Swift reportedly replied who Katy did Andy Cohen mean and he confirmed that he was referring to Katy Perry. Andy Cohen revealed that after he said that, Taylor Swift clearly pointed out that she and the "Roar" singer are not friends. The "Watch What Happens Live" host then said that he tried to smooth things out with the "Wildest Dreams" singer but it may never be repaired since the damage has been done. He admitted that he believes Taylor Swift thinks he was just trying to stick his nose where it did not belong and was not at all being shady.

He also said that as Taylor Swift was walking away from him, she turned around and said that he should not talk about it on his show because she is watching. He then decided to reveal it on his book because Taylor Swift did not ask him to not write about it, E! News reported.

Neither Taylor Swift nor Katy Perry have commented on the story of Andy Cohen.
