After two majors back surgeries Dallas Cowboys star quarterback Tony Romo finally addresses the media for the first time since August. He told the media that the rookie quarterback Dak Prescott had right to be the in the team and passed on his legacy to Prescott.

According to Yahoo Sports, Romo didn't hide any of his disappointment while he was reading his statements. He said that the 23 years old rookie Dak Prescott earned the right to be Dallas Cowboys quarterback. Prescott guided the Cowboys to an 8-1 record and that was a hard thing to do.

According to NFL News report, Tony Romo said to the media further, "If you think for a second that I don't want to be out there, then you probably never felt the pure ecstasy of competing and winning.'' He also said that the feeling of winning hasn't left him yet but it burns in him now more than ever.

Romo was surprisingly reflective as well, recalling the early days of his career when he was still fighting for his career so that he can stay as one of the rosters. Now, Romo is the franchise leader in passing yards and touchdowns.
