'Bachelor in Paradise' Season 2 Premieres

Single men and women's interest spark anew as the second season of "Bachelor in Paradise" premieres over ABC on Sunday night.

The phenomenal series is expected to treat its strong base of views to some scenes with steamy hookups and interesting revelations. And who knows, a wedding can also be the climax of the show.

As reported by the US Magazine, Chris Harrison started the second season of the show by telling the viewers that some of the contestants are familiar faces who are hoping to have a second or third chance at love.

Online news entertainment site, thestar.com, claimed in one of its reports that the producers of this seemingly guilty pleasure has decided to expand the cast by including a number of favorites and villains in a beach somewhere in Mexico. The show will certainly hook fans who want to see interesting stories of love triangles, drama, parties, dates, and hookups, among others.

Gossip and Gab website gave a quick recap of what happened at the premiere of the second season of "Bachelor in Paradise". The single ladies and men arrived in Playa Escondida in Mexico for a cocktail party, which aimed to have everyone introduced to one another.

Gossip and Gab also gave initial feedback about the contestants. Mikey Tenerelli, for instance, is said to be the definition of "Meat Head" because of his built and attitude. Ashly Laconetti who brought in her sister Lauren, which raised eyebrows of some of the viewers as the sisters are a package in the show.

The host gave instructions that the women will need to receive a rose from the guys, and the person who would not get a rose would have to go home.

Kirk and Carly, meanwhile, were seen flirting with each other. Mikey T was trying to get Lauren's attention, but to no avail.

The following day, Ashley I. received a date card, which read: "choose a man to get dirty with." He decided to pick Jared, who does not seem interested with her. The two bonded in a private beach.

Jade also received a date card, and she chose Tanner. They had a very romantic dinner and stayed in the river.

Adding to the drama of the premiere of the episode is Ashley S.' trip to the hospital. As reported by the Gossip Cop, the contestant appeared to be dehydrated. The episode ended with a surprise visitor, Clare Crawley, who also joined as a contestant.
