Tinder LATEST News & Update: Be Careful When Using This App As Scammers Are Lurking! [DETAILS HERE]

Different dating sites are around to ultimately find one's potential partner. It is unfortunate though that such sites are also used for scamming unsuspected individuals. Tinder is not spared by this. It is important to always be on guard with the person you are communicating before trusting completely.

According to Gizmodo, if someone asks money on dating app like Tinder, never fall for it no matter how tempting it can be. However, many people from all over the world succumb to this.

About 27 percent of people ages 18 to 24 say that they use online dating site and apps such as Tinder to find a potential partner. However, since this is the age bracket of young professionals, this demographic group is the one prone to scam.

There was one Tinder user who said that she found a man on Tinder, which is, of course, the main purpose of the app. She then realized that it was all a scam when they both started exchanging SMS and the man removed his profile on Tinder. Apparently, the man said he is working for the US Army.

This man, later on, requested a care package from her email address and asked her to send the request to Diplomats.com. She obliged and sent the money. Later on, she found out that the money has to be sent through Western Union.

The Western Union or Money Gram payment was sent through India. All the items totaled to $350. At this point, the lady realized it was all a fake account and using the military man's profile to scam on more people. Many scammers use fake profiles when they use the dating app, Tinder.

As added by The Wireless, it is somehow proven to be difficult to determine the scammers from the legitimate individuals. They are definitely real people because they answer specific questions and they use real photos which are presumably coming from other people's account.

Tinder scammers pretend to be someone trustworthy. They get the trust of the victim until a certain kind of bond or relationship is formed for them to make unnecessary requests. Of course, the victim will do everything all in the name of love.

It is important to never trust right away when dealing with dating apps such as Tinder. Though there are many successful relationships that started from the site, it is also a place teeming with scammers waiting for their next victim.
