Molly Sims Scared to Breastfeed Infant Son who was Born with a Tooth

Molly Sims was scared to breastfeed her little boy Brooks Alan who was born with a tooth.

During a chat with CNN anchorman Anderson Cooper, the new mom shared her breastfeeding experiences, People magazine reported.

"Early on in the hospital, they really want you to breastfeed, so I'm trying everything," Sims explained her first breastfeeding experience. "And I'm like, 'Gosh, this really, really hurts.' And they're like, 'Oh, we know.'"

Checking the newborn's mouth, the model mom was shocked to find a tooth. However, nobody was willing to believe her.

"I'm like, 'Is there any way a baby could be born with a tooth?'" People magazine quoted Sims' statement. "And they went, 'Oh sweetie, I know you're a model, but ... babies aren't born with teeth!'" she said.

Still, the new mom tried to breastfeed her son with the help of shields, nipple guards and supplemental nursing system, but nothing worked.

"He was literally like a vampire on me for three months - it was unbelievable," she said, referring to seven-month-old son. "Cut to I'm not breastfeeding and I'm proud of it."

Sims dropped out of college to pursue her career in modeling. She has starred in several comedy films such as "The Pink Panther 2", "The Benchwarmers", "Yes Man", and "Fired Up". She also played the role of Delinda Deline on the NBC series "Las Vegas".

She married film producer Scott Stuber Sept. 24, 2011 and confirmed pregnancy in January. The couple welcomed their son in June 2012.
