Two-Time Olympic Gold Medalist Claressa Shields Go For A Win In Pro Boxing Debut

The two-time Olympic Gold medalist Claressa Shields brings the fight to pro boxing and easily crushed Franchon Crews. Claressa easily got the won on her debut on pro boxing with all the three judges scoring 40-36 in favor of Claressa. Shields is always ahead of Crews in the amateurs was in control of the entire fight and hurt Crews badly but cannot put Crews down.

This could be the start of Claressa Shields exciting career in a sport that is dominated by men. Shields said, "It feels so good to have just made my pro debut." She addded that this is what she has been training for. "I'm faster and I hit harder. And I'm the better fighter. But Crews brought 100% and I respect her for that. I hope to fight next in January or February."

According to BoxingJunkie, the 21-year-old gold medalist is an undercard fight in the much anticipated event of Sergey Kovalev-Andre Ward fight. It was held at T-Mobile arena, after the final bell rang the crowd roar applause to Shields.

The speed and power of Shields was visible in the entire fight. It was also Crews debut fight in pro boxing but is very upset for she was given a small time for preparation because she was a late replacement. Shields shared that she is uncomfortable getting hit in the face without a headgear and also the gloves were smaller. However, Shields know that she could knockout someone in the future and she also came close to doing it to Crews.

The knockouts will come for Shields, everyone has that feeling it is just up to Shields to continue the hard work, perseverance and discipline to improve her pro boxing career. The hype of Shields fan is high at the moment, we all just hope she won't be a bust in the pro boxing.
