‘How To Get Away With Murder’ Season 3: Viola Davis Talks About The Person Under The Sheet [Spoilers]

The winter finale of “How to Get Away with Murder” was what every viewer was waiting for. How did Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) get away, again? For those who haven’t seen the episode, continue reading at your own risk.

There was a lot of speculations as to who was under the sheet. The most obvious answer HTGAWM fans pointed to was Frank (Charlie Weber). However, it turned out that it was actually the show's underdog, Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch), who was under the sheet.

Many consider Wes’ death as a wrong move for the series. While other fans considered it as an essential turning point for “How to Get Away with Murder.” Nonetheless, every citizen of Shondaland can agree that it was a devastating call for everyone.

It was even more devastating for HTGAWM lead actress Viola Davis. Though everyone in the set of “How to Get Away” already knew that some had to die again this season, the camaraderie they've built was not easy to discard.

However, Davis said that Enoch and her other co-stars were mature enough to know their characters' limitations well ahead of the season. Enoch was also “seemed to be good with it” so they didn’t have to really talk about his death in “How to Get Away with Murder,” Davis added in an interview with EW.

Still, Wes’ death in the show wasn’t easy for Davis. She also revealed that she kept the storyline all to herself because she didn't want to freak out her other HTGAWM co-stars.

As for Laurel (Karla Souza), she also learned about Wes’ death just last September. The question now is how will Laurel go through her pregnancy alone?

Moreover, the final question should be is, who killed Wes and why? Fans will know soon as Wes will be back during flashbacks and the remaining half of the season as they solve the mystery, Variety reports.

Fans will have to wait for the return of “How to Get Away with Murder” on Jan. 19, 2017 on ABC. What did you think of Wes' death? Are you devastated with this surprising turn of events? Sound off your thoughts in the comments below!
