Kanye West Meltdown: Rapper Hospitalized Days After Concert Rant; Celebrity Mental Health Now A Growing Concern?

Kanye West is not okay days after he made another infamous rant regarding wanting to vote for Donald Trump, blasting Beyonce and the music industry. According to sources, the father-of-two, who was taken to a hospital for exhaustion, feels like he is under a spiritual attack. So you think West's case is another celebrity mental health dilemma? 

The 39-year-old's hospitalization came after he announced that he is canceling the remaining 21 dates of his Saint Pablo tour. Reports said he was the one who went to the hospital after a doctor advised him to do so. A source shared that Kanye West is exhausted and currently dealing with sleep deprivation.

The source continued to tell People that the supposed spiritual attack was not sudden as it has been going on for a time now. The source pointed out that Kanye West is not basically bothered about the big things but those smaller, quieter and internal things are taking a toll on his mental health. Also, the robbery of his wife, Kim Kardashian, in Paris did not help for him to feel better.

Kanye West's mother died in November 2007 at the age of 58 and it's one of the reasons why he is feeling on the edge as of late every year. Due to his mother's death, West felt that November always brings him a lot of pain. The source pointed out that the "Fade" hitmaker keeps the pain internalized and he sometimes would talk about how difficult it has been for him since his mother's death.

The source also told the publication that Kanye West feels like it is a trying time for his spirit but sees it as a good thing because the rapper leans in and listens in order to come out as a stronger man. The source added of Kanye West's physical, emotional, mental and spiritual exhaustion, "Sometimes, darkness creeps in, and Kanye wrestles against it. He talks about that a lot. It's exhausting, and it takes everything he's got."

As for his wife Kim Kardashian, she was supposed to make her first public appearance since the Paris robbery on Monday. The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star was supposed to attend the Angel Ball at the Cipriani Wall Street in NY but canceled.

This event was to honor her late father, Robert Kardashian. It was unclear if her cancellation had anything to do with her husband's meltdown.

Metro reports that many celebrities in the past and now have been experiencing troubles with their mental health. Justin Bieber has been expressive about this and Selena Gomez just gave a moving American Music Awards acceptance speech about being broken inside. It is believed that this is a growing trend and people are advised to tackle the issue differently.

The publication says that people should learn to respect the celebrities because they are still people. Others have taken to social media to post memes and rumors about Kanye West as he is to undergo psychological evaluation.
