Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton Hugs Crying Mom Of Son With Autism At Place2Be Charity Event

The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton comforted a weeping mother of a son with autism during the Place2Be Charity Event last Tuesday. "I just had to do that as a mum," the Royal Highness told the mother whose son chatted with the Duchess, explaining how he coped up with his disability.

According to a report by DailyMail, Ethan, the son of the crying mom whom the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton hugged, spoke regarding his diagnosis. "It was a very difficult time but my diagnosis helped me to cope with what I was experiencing," says Ethan.

The teenage boy further added: "I decided that I wanted to speak out about it. There is no point in sitting back. I'd rather stand up and make a difference." His mother told the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton that it has not been a easy the past few years. Regardless, she feels so proud of his son with autism.

Also, Ethan's diagnosis autism and Asperger syndrome are not labels, according to the mother. "They are explanation of what makes Ethan the boy he is," she added.

The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton was informed that Ethan set up a computer games club at school to help other pupils relax despite him being badly bullied due to his then-undiagnosed conditions at primary school, per Mashable. Ethan, a student of Fulwood Academy, was nominated for the Young Person Champion award during the Place2Be Charity event.

Performing her role as a Patron of Charity at the leading national children's mental health charity, Place2Be, the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton looked ravishing in her Preen dress and lattice Prada pumps. In fact, earlier in the year, the Duchess wore the same dress in red when she was in Canada.

Vogue even reported that in one day, the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton rocked two outfits. So, what do you think of the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton's outfit during the party and Place2Be Charity event? Leave your comments below.
