Android 7.0 Nougat Update For Sony, Motorola, Nexus, HTC, LG, Samsung, OnePlus And More

Google already released the new Android 7.0 Nougat OS update in August followed by Android 7.1 Nougat Beta program very recently. However, most users are still waiting for their Android smartphone to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update. 

The following smartphones are listed to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update. For Sony, the devices that are all set to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update are the Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z4 Tablet, Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia X, Xperia XA, Xperia XA Ultra, and Xperia X Performance smartphones.

Motorola's fourth generation Moto G, Moto G Plus and Moto G Play, the third edition of Moto X Pure Edition, Moto X Force, Moto X Play, Moto X Style, Droid Maxx 2, Droid Turbo 2, Moto Z, Moto Z Play, Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Play Droid devices ready to get the Android 7.0 Nougat OS update. Meanwhile, Android 7.0 Nougat OS is available for Google Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus 9 LTE and Wi/Fi variants, Nexus Player and Pixel C.

HTC devices to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat are HTC One M9 and One A9. The newly released HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle and Desire 10 Pro are also expected to get the Android 7.0 Nougat upgrade.

Which smartphones have received the Android 7.0 Nougat update so far? LG V20 is the first Android 7.0 Nougat updated smartphone, launched with the newest OS from Google. LG has also already released the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the G5 smartphone users in the Korean tech market and it is notified by LG that the other tech markets will receive the update soon.

Motorola smartphones like the Verizon Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Droid Force have been reported to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update via OTA. Samsung has released Android 7.0 Nougat Beta program to its best flagships Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in some selected tech markets. The two smartphones have already undergone the first stage of testing, and Samsung has already released the second beta program.

Various reports hint that the Samsung will end the Beta testing on Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge by December and will start rolling the Android 7.0 Nougat public update by end of 2016 or Q1 of 2017. Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge smartphones are reported to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat Beta program soon. 

OnePlus has already released the Android 7.0 Nougat Beta program to its smartphone OnePlus 3 and the newly released smartphone OnePlus 3T is expected to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat OTA update together with OnePlus 3.
