Latest NBA News: Three Way Blockbuster Trade With New York Knicks’ Carmelo Anthony To Indiana Pacers And Paul George To Boston Celtics

The NBA league's best players and superstars are now in the conversation for a blockbuster trade where gold medalists, Paul George and Carmelo Anthony will be seen in different cities based on the latest NBA trade rumors.

All three teams, New York Knicks, Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers made a good run during the off-season as they acquired big players to solidify their roster. However, just early this season, fans witnessed the teams' struggles and needs. Their woes may have led them to think of a possible trade.

According to recent reports, the trade rumors will bring 9-time NBA All-star and Knicks' forward, Carmelo Anthony and Celtics' 2018 first-round pick to the Indiana Pacers. On the other hand, the Boston Celtics will receive 3-time All-star, Paul George from the Pacers alongside the Knicks' 2019 first-round pick. Lastly, the New York Knicks will get Jae Crowder and 2018 first-round draft pick all from the Celtics.

This proposed trade would shake things up in the Eastern Conference. Having Anthony in the Pacers will be a huge scoring upgrade for the team. However, Pacers President of Basketball Operations, Larry Bird has already made a statement on building the franchise around Paul George. For the Celtics, George moving to the "Beantown" may potentially create another super-team with Isaiah Thomas and Al Horford. The New York Knicks may lose their superstar player, but giving away Anthony will make room for cap space.

Unfortunately, this rumored trade may not be accepted under the NBA trade rules and policy. The Celtics and Pacers will exceed the salary cap space wherein the league will not give a go signal for the deal.

Although it would be great to see these new players with new uniforms in new cities, but it would better for them to stay put as of the moment. All teams are looking to land a playoff spot in a now close Eastern Conference. Fans will have to wait whether there will be future player movement.
