The manga series of "One Punch Man" has gained triumph from over 11.11 million printed copies sold. With the success of "One Punch Man," fans are surely looking forward to the future episodes, especially since a second season has already been confirmed.

Shueisha's Young Jump announced in its 52nd issue that "One Punch Man" and "ONE" have sold more than 11,110,000 printed copies, Anime News Network reported. The "One Punch Man" episodes are currently available on Shueisha's spinoff website, Tonari no Young Jump. Furthermore, Shueisha will soon publish the 12th collection volume on Dec. 2, but it will only be released in Japan.

The original "One Punch Man" series will be published digitally by Viz Media on the Weekly Shonen Jump compilation and will soon release the series in print. Fans of "One Punch Man" recall that the ninth compiled volume of the hit anime was released on Nov. 1.

The first anime adaptation of "One Punch Man" was released in Japan from October to December 2015 with 12 episodes. The series is directed by Shingo Natsume, who worked with Madhouse Entertainment, resulting in a successful series. This has started the popularity of "One Punch Man," which has spread worldwide.

"One Punch Man" may have started the anime craze, which has experienced a slowdown in the latter part of 2000. Back then, manga sales are down, but when "One Punch Man" and "Tokyo Ghoul" were launched, the anime sales began to pick up, according to Publisher's Weekly.

It was just last year when "Tokyo Ghoul" and "One Punch Man" made it to BookScan's top list of graphic novels chart. The two series even made it to top 20 sellers each month, indicating that new readers are coming in at a steady pace and continue to be interested in the two series.

The success of "One Punch Man" opened doors to new opportunities and so its renewal for another season did not come much of a surprise. However, there is no news about its release date yet, but it is confirmed to have 19 episodes.
