Sony even jumped on the bandwagon for coming up with good smartwatches. Its attempt with Sony SmartWatch 3 did not disappoint at all. Critics loved the watch and still is highly recommended even in 2016. May even rival Apple Watch, Huawei Watch and the likes.

According to Tech Radar, the Sony SmartWatch 3 is more than just a smartwatch. It is also a capable fitness watch because of GPS inclusion.

it is obvious that the Sony SmartWatch 3 is not as striking and stylish as its competition, but it does come with good features. It sports a square shape which is comparable to the Pebble Time compared to other Android Wear devices.

The Sony SmartWatch 3 has 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 512MB of RAM which is still up to the 2016 standards. There is also a built-in GPS making it a fully functional fitness accessory that any other smartwatches available in the market.

With good features and power, the smartwatch doesn't come in cheap. It retails to about $250. However, in 2016 there could be good deals available for the smartwatch making it more affordable.

The Sony SmartWatch 3 has 1.6inch 320 x 320 transflective display. This is the same resolution as the Gear Live and the G Watch R and a little better than Moto 360. The resolution standard is still up to par even in 2016.

With Sony SmartWatch 3 having the transflective display, it makes it easier to read in direct sunlight, something that most smartwatches in 2016 do not offer. With sports enthusiasts being under the sun, it is good that information can be read comfortably because of this technology.
