End Of The World News & Update: Earth Doomed In 1,000 Years; Humanity Needs To Find A New Planet To Survive

Extraterrestrial life and end of the world reports remain to be among the hottest issues today. Well, it looks like we need to explore the space to find a new planet because according to Stephen Hawking the Earth is doomed in the next 1,000 years. The people need to find a new planet to survive.

Last Monday, Stephen Hawking delivered a lecture about the universe and the origins of the human being at the Oxford Union. The popular theoretical physicist and cosmologist announced that the humans are close to understanding the laws of the universe. With the use of supercomputers like Cosmos, the humanity will understand their rightful place in the universe.

Stephen Hawking also hints about the end of the world and calls the cosmologists to continue exploring the space for the future of humanity because in time we have to evacuate the Earth. "I don't think we will survive another 1,000 years without escaping beyond our fragile planet," said Hawking per Independent.

The author of the best-seller "A Brief History of Time" added that the chance of disaster hitting the Earth is slim at the time. However, the risks add up over time and it increases in the next 1,000 to 10,000 years.

Stephen Hawking advised that by that time, the humanity should have explored the space because a disaster will hit the Earth. If the human race will not find a new planet to live in before that incident, it could be the end of the humanity, the Washington Post reported.

Stephen Hawking hinted that one of the major threats in the universe is the chances of an asteroid colliding with its inhabited planets. If this happens the Earth is doomed. It could cause a damage in the whole country or continent, Express reported.

NASA is confident that the collision will not happen in the next 100 years. However, the odds of it happening in the next 1,000 to 10,000 years are high.

Is the asteroid collision really the end of the world? Is life beyond Earth possible? Is it time to move to Mars? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
