While many of its fans may be saddened that "Black Sails" is ending soon, getting to its fourth season is already an accomplishment. According to Deadline, "Black Sails" is the first original starz series that went beyond three seasons.

The show's co-creator and executive producer, Jonathan E. Steinberg, added that there’s no better way to end the show. This means that fans will surely get the answers that they’ve been asking in the past season, such as how did Silver not care about Captain Flint’s sexuality? Fans will have to wait to find out the answer.
