‘Black Sails’ Season 4 Release Date And Updates: John Silver More Villainous Than Ever?

“Black Sails” Season 4 is said to be the show's final season. As the premiere date gets near, fans are anxious to know what will happen to their favorite characters in the show. Also, what can fans expect from John Silver (Luke Arnold) now?

The main plot of "Black Sails" is centered on Captain Flint, the most feared pirate of time, portrayed by actor Toby Stephens. The story is based on the classic novel “Treasure Island” written by Robert Louis Stevenson.

Based on its Season 3 Finale, fans are expecting a more ruthless John Silver for Season 4. The colorful villain is expected to carry out the diabolical plan he’s been planning since the first season. Spoilers suggest that in the Season 4 pilot episode, John Silver is brought to a dangerous situation because of his peg leg

On a darker side, Eleanor (Hannah New) may be screwed this season. She should have known better that revenge will come after her even after the death of Charles Vane (Zach McGowan), Inverse reports. So, who’s getting rid of Eleanor, Blackbeard (Ray Stevenson) or Jack (Toby Schmitz)? Fans will find out soon.

While many of its fans may be saddened that "Black Sails" is ending soon, getting to its fourth season is already an accomplishment. According to Deadline, "Black Sails" is the first original starz series that went beyond three seasons.

The show's co-creator and executive producer, Jonathan E. Steinberg, added that there’s no better way to end the show. This means that fans will surely get the answers that they’ve been asking in the past season, such as how did Silver not care about Captain Flint’s sexuality? Fans will have to wait to find out the answer.

“Black Sails” Season 4 will premiere on Jan. 29, 2017 on Starz.
