"Scream Queens" Season 2 cancellation news reveals that FOX may soon axe the series for good because of its poor ratings. According to TV Series Finale, the show's renewal for a second season was already surprising as it is because it did not perform well in the ratings during the first season.

"Scream Queens" Season 2 was not able to redeem itself as the show's ratings continue to drop with every episode. On average, the show has received a 0.67 rating in the 18-49 demographics, which is 38.38 percent lower than last season's average.

The show has also received an average of 1.574 million viewers in "Scream Queens" Season 2, which is almost half than the viewers last season. This means that it is only a matter of time before FOX decides to pull the show from its list of TV dramas.

It was not enough that Taylor Lautner joined "Scream Queens" Season 2 nor did it matter that the show finally revealed the identity of the Green Meanie. Spoilers for episode 7 titled "The Hand" reveal that fans and viewers will see more of Nurse Hoffel's involvement, reports Carter Matt.

Aside from this, "Scream Queens" Season 2 spoilers tease that Dean Munsch will be suggesting a surgery to Dr. Holt, as the latter becomes worse than before. Cassidy, on the other hand, will do a psych test.
