‘Gotham’ Season 3 Casts James Remar To Play As [SPOILERS]; Barbara To Become Harley Quinn?

As "Gotham" Season 3 returns with a fresh episode, the show welcomes a new member of the cast. James Remar has been cast for a recurring role. Meanwhile, Erin Richards answers the question on whether Barbara is going to become Harley Quinn.

"Dexter" alum James Remar has booked a recurring role as Frank Gordon in Fox's "Gotham," a Batman origin series. According to Deadline, Frank Gordon is a good secret keeper and can play both sides really well. Frank Gordon is Jim's (played by Ben McKenzie) uncle, who is now returning 25 years after Jim's father died in a car crash.

"Gotham" spoilers tease that James Remar's character has a dark secret. Whatever he is hiding would have a devastating effect on Jim, and there will come a point that Jim would have to choose between saving his family and his city.

James Remar is currently part of "Code Black" on CBS and "The Path" on Hulu. He is also known for his roles in "The Shannara Chronicles," "The Legend of Korra" and "Grey's Anatomy."

Meanwhile, there have been talks and comparison between Barbara Kean and Harley Quinn, and whether Barbara (played by Erin Richards) will eventually turn out as Harley Quinn.

In an interview with Cinema Blend, Erin Richards said that currently, Barbara has a clear plan on how she would want to takeover the underworld. For Babs to become Harley Quinn, someone who likes to wreak havoc for the sake of making destructions, there has to be something big to happen. It has to be really huge that it would change how Barbara would play the game without logical schemes.

"Gotham" Season 3 Episode 11 titled "Mad City: Beware the Green-Eyed Monster" synopsis says: "The lab developing a cure for the virus becomes compromised; Mario and Gordon butt heads before the wedding; Selina has an unexpected encounter; Barbara brings Nygma information about Isabella."

The new "Gotham" Season 3 episode airs tonight at 8/7c on Fox.
