We all have moods. Energetic at once or irritable sometimes. Feeling sad or down is very normal but it's not lasting. This should not hinder going about tasks for daily living. Depression and bipolar disorder are two different mental illnesses that alter the way people feel thus behaving differently than they normally do, making them unable to perform the things they have to do.

Depression is a prolonged "feeling blue" period  whereas Bipolar disorder causes episodes of depression and mania. Mania is an unusually high mood with thoughts racing and feeling hyperactive, as explained by the Canadian Mental Health Association.

Yousef Erakat is a person filled with humor. The kind of YouTube digital artist that can draw audience wth his unique pranks that entertain his growing audience. Like any other bipolar inflicted individuals, Erakat has long-term bipolar disorder and depression in him.

Extreme mood swings are already expected from him by the people he lives with. He will go from emotional highs to the lowest point of depressions but good thing he's on medication that can control that. As the youngest sibling, the 26-year-old was born to Palestinian immigrants who are loving home and supportive that is vital in his recovery.

Erakat recalled his experience when studying at San Jose State University. He realized that when peers are on for Friday night gimmicks,he would rather go home and cry in his rooms for no reason while writing poems.

He did not want to be different and so he sought medical help at once to hopefully fit in immediately. Little did he know that it is about learning how to balance things within himself that would guide him to do better in his field on a regular basis. His continues exploration as YouTube artist benefitted from this approach as the Hollywood industry noticed him, according to CNN.
