"Big Bang Theory" Season 11 cancellation news reveals that the upcoming season may serve as the final season for Leonard (Johnny Galecki), Penny (Kaley Cuoco), Sheldon (Jim Parsons), Amy (Mayim Bialik), Howard (Simon Helberg), Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) and Raj (Kunal Nayyar). According to Movie Pilot, there are several possible reasons behind the show's rumored cancellation.

First, there are rumors that Kaley Cuoco is refusing to renew her contract beyond "TBBT" Season 11. The publication notes that the actress is refusing to do so because she wants to focus on her family life and get pregnant.

Second, there have also been rumors that Cuoco, Jim Parsons and Johnny Galecki are demanding for higher paychecks to renew their contracts for "Big Bang Theory" Season 11. Third, "Big Bang Theory" Season 11 may no longer be renewed for another season because Parsons wants to work on a new show on Freeform titled "The Monarch is Going to Shit."

As The Hollywood Reporter stated previously, CBS is developing a spinoff based on "Big Bang Theory" which will focus on Sheldon. According to the publication, the same creators will be working on the spinoff series and Parsons will be one of the executive producers.

This spinoff served as a hint to viewers that "Big Bang Theory" Season 11 will, indeed, become the series finale for the CBS sitcom. "Big Bang Theory" Season 11 spoilers also tease that Amy and Sheldon may finally tie the knot next season, giving "Shamy" fans the conclusion they have always wanted.
