According to IFL Science, this a new conspiracy theory that recently surfaced. Based on a footage from Google Earth, there is indeed an Antarctica Pyramid.

Well, it may have looked like an Antarctica Pyramid on Google Earth, but the pyramid is nothing but a mountain. The Antarctica Pyramid was first discovered by the British Antarctic Expedition from 1910 to 1913. The discovery was kept a secret from everyone else and was just called The Pyramid.

Back in the Expedition a century ago, the geologists who called the Antarctica Pyramid, which is nothing but a mountain will resurface and become a big deal. After a century, the discovery of the supposed pyramid is now being considered as one made by aliens which visited the planet thousands of years ago.

A second mountain was again discovered. It does resemble an Antarctica Pyramid. This new discovery is again clearly a mountain. The pyramid shaped mountains are located in the Ellsworth Mountains, with a range of over 400kilometers long.

The peaks are made out of rocks and it is just nothing but a coincidence for it having a pyramid shape. However, the formation is called a Nunatak, which is a peak of rock sticking above a glacier or an ice sheet.

As added by Seeker, pyramid shapes are possible to form. Many peaks look like a pyramid, but they only have one to two faces looking like that and not four. The pyramid shaped mountain doesn't have an official name.

The supposed Antarctica Pyramid is not too tall in planetary standards. It only stands 4,150feet or a little less that one-fifth the height and size of Denali, the tallest mountain in North America.
