'Witcher 3' Game Plus Mode DLC Is Out Now!

The last downloadable content for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" containing the new "Game Plus Mode" has already been released for the Xbox One.

According to a report from GameSpot, the DLC has not yet been released for the PC and PlayStation 4 versions of the massive game.

This may be because the released patch for the Xbox One version has been ahead of schedule. Game developer CD Projekt Red hasn't announced the release of the DLC on any social network, blog or even the game's official website.

According to IGN, the patch weighs 9.51MB and it should be released for the other platform versions shortly.

Being the last piece of DLC that "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will have, the Game Plus mode offers some things to players.

According to Techno Buffalo, the new mode allows players to take a character, Geralt, from a completed save state - including levels, abilities, arms/weapons and armor - to play the game right from the start.

CD Projekt Red's Marcin Momot said that in the NG+ mode, enemies will be stronger and everything will start at level 30 - meaning, if a player finished the game with Geralt at less than level 30, he would be bumped up to 30.

Other items - such as quest items, books & letters, Gwent cards, usable items, trophies - will not be carried over.

Players will also be able to select any difficulty level and will be able to obtain the "Death Match" achievement when playing the NG+ mode.

There will also be a clearing option given to players at the start for the purpose of resetting skills, to try another build.

GameSpot also reports that CD Projekt Red released mod tools for the PC version of "The Witcher 3" on August 14. However, release for other platforms are hindered by technical issues.

"We are thinking about it but it's a way more complex process to do this on consoles so we can't give you any details now," the studio said to GameSpot, when asked about console mod tools.

"It's really important for us not to partition The Witcher community and allow access to mods to console gamers, too. We're considering various approaches to solve this and started initial talks with first parties about this," said the studio.

Fans asking if a REDkit similar to the one released for "The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings," will be made for Witcher 3. Momot replies "this is the mod support for the Wild Hunt. At this moment, we are not planning to release anything else."
