‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7 Spoilers: Sophie Turner Hints That Sansa Stark Will Become More "Insecure"

Even after having retaken Winterfell in the recently concluded season of "Game of Thrones," life will continue to be challenging for Sansa Stark, one of the most beloved characters in the award-winning HBO series. Even as Sansa Stark's influence rises, threats to her power will make her more insecure.

Sophie Turner, the actress playing Sansa Stark, revealed these details to Entertainment Weekly in an interview. Turner noted Sansa's growing confidence and influence after defeating Ramsay Bolton in the final episode of "Game of Thrones" Season 6, but added that there will be setbacks.

Turner said Sansa will appear to be in control and powerful for the first time - something that would be refreshing to GoT fans. Sansa has had a long struggle to the top, starting from the moment she lost her father in Season 1 and being a captive of Cersei Lannister.

According to Turner, this could make her character go into a "power trip." "She's also becoming more insecure, because there are threats to the power that she holds," Turner added.

What exactly those threats are and where they will come from are still unknown. Time notes, however, that there may be tension between Sansa and her half-sibling Jon Snow, based on the way Sansa glanced at Littlefinger when Jon was proclaimed King in the North, as seen in the Season 6 Finale's last scene.

Another possible threat might come from other female GoT characters, such as Cersei and the Daenerys. Season 7 spoilers suggest that the main characters will finally be coming together as the show gears up for its ultimate end.

Earlier this week, scenes from "Game of Thrones" Season 7 were sneaked in a trailer shown on HBO. The short video contains only three shots from GoT, but these are enough for fans to come up with their own theories. 

The teaser shows Sansa standing in front of a Weirwood tree looking surprised, and her younger sister Arya riding a horse, dressed in Northern attire. It also shows a shot of their half-brother--now revealed as cousin--Jon Snow. Does this mean a major Stark reunion for GoT Season 7?
