‘Outlander’ Season 3 Latest News & Updates: Sam Heughan And Matt Roberts Tease About New Season's Plot! [SPOILERS]

The most recent update on “Outlander” season 3 had fans reacting both positively and negatively. So, how does the print shop scene affect the latest season of the original Starz show?

It was first reported that the series won’t be recreating the print shop scene. However, they’re still going to make a scene something similar to it, but it will surely be in a different direction.

So, will the fans love it? Well, fans are hesitant if they do. Even TV Line added that some fans may not love it considering that scene is key to the new season. An image a part of the script highlights “ENTER” was tweeted by the writer and producer of “Outlander,” Matt Roberts. A fan reacted that Jamie (Sam Heughan) was supposed to be already in the print shop during the scene, based on the books.

Aside from this, Sam Heughan also added that the pilot episode and early episodes of the third season slightly deviate from the books. He added that the new season shows a little bit of Culloden and the things that happened Jamie, Pop Sugar reports.

Aside from this, Heughan also added that Jamie will also be playing at least three personas in “Outlander” season 3. He may come to age but most of the old age comes from his experiences and not literally with his gray hair.

The saddest part of Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) is that the two of the think and believe that they are already dead. However, though lifetimes apart, the two still have great love and respect for each other. Nonetheless, season 3 will explore how they live their lives in distance first.

For now, “Outlander” season 3 will air in 2017. Starz has not released a specific date for the release.
