Inspirational Couple Finally Retires After Spending Almost Four Decades Fostering 241 Children

Parenthood enables parents to go through the difficulties of raising their children. But parenting other children is definitely one enormous responsibility. Lancashire couple has taken foster care to the next level. George and Jos Hindle have taken care of 241 children in the past 37 years.

The Sun shares the story of the Hindle couple, who are an inspiration to everyone. George and Jos engaged in fostering children after seeing an advertisement in a newspaper in 1979.

They had a spare room in their home and even had their own children at that time but they still wanted to be around children and they just started taking children into their household. George expressed that it was never planned but it was such a good experience that they carried it for years.

Jos also shared her views, saying that it is a general perception that foster care is difficult. But in her opinion, it's the same as raising one's own children. All children want love and protection and she admitted she enjoyed every bit of her life with her children.

George shared his joy over the children's accomplishments in life and said that it's so good to know that they have helped them getting somewhere. Daily Express shared the views of the children about their foster parents and the time they spent with them.

Tanya, aged 31, came into the couple's life when she was 14 months old. She said that she is extremely happy that she had lived with Jos and George and they're the best parents. She said that she had a good education and lead a normal life.

Lisa, 34, and Kelly, 35, also had the same feelings for their foster parents and called them two-in-a-million. The foster children are following their parents' footsteps and are devoted to helping others. Jos and George Hindle are now retiring after a blissful experience but will remain an inspiration for people to follow.
