Christmas came early for gaming fans as PlayStation Experience 2016 unleashed a roster of highly anticipated game sequels, new game release, and a whole lot more. Among the gameplay trailers unveiled were "The Last of Us: Part 2," "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite," and "Uncharted."

Sony's annual PSX focuses on its own PlayStation gaming platforms, minus rival companies. Let's recap on the top gameplay trailers that were showcased during the PlayStation Experience 2016 in Anaheim, California, last weekend.

According to Metro UK, the biggest reveals during the PlayStation Experience 2016 included "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy," "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite," "The Last of Us: Part 2," the remastered "WipEout: Omega Collection," "Knack 2," "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy," "PaRappa The Rapper 20th Anniversary," "Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom," "Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza 6," "Dreadnought," "Pyre," "Vane," "Nex Machina," "Let It Die," "Starblood Arena," and "Horizon: Zero Dawn."

Forbes noted that in "Uncharted: Lost Legacy," the main protagonist, playable character, will no longer be Nathan Drake, but will instead be Chloe Frazer. "Uncharted: Lost Legacy" gameplay trailer was showcased during the PlayStation Experience 2016, the game being offered as both as part of season pass and a "massive" stand-alone experience.

Of course, Naughty Dog didn't miss out on all the excitement during the PlayStation Experience 2016 as the follow-up of the hit post-apocalyptic game "The Last of Us" finally hit the screens, per MMO Examiner. "The Last of Us: Part 2" features the much older Ellie, taking the lead protagonist role filled with hatred and vengeance.

Then, there's the crossover fighting game series "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite." Fans were not really disappointed during the PlayStation Experience 2016. SlashGear reported that Capcom has indeed confirmed "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" will be released on Xbox One, PS4, and Windows PC around late 2017.

So, what do you think of the PlayStation Experience 2016 and its biggest gameplay trailers and releases?
