'Marvel vs. Capcom' Release Date And Updates: First Trailer Features New Characters Using The Infinity Stones; Capcom Plans To Release New Title Every Year

"Marvel vs. Capcom" has been around for more than 2 decades since its release back in 1996 with the title X-Men vs. Street Fighter. Capcom is now back for the 8th installment with the title "Marvel vs. Capcom" Infinite, which is set to release this coming 2017.

Capcom released the first trailer for the upcoming "Marvel vs. Capcom" Infinite in which the characters are being presented. The trailer showed the some of the characters appearing in the actual game with some in-game footage using the powers of the Infinity Stones as per the Gamespot reported.

The "Marvel vs. Capcom" Infinite trailer draw a lot of attention as Capcom introduced the game's first footage during the PlayStation Experience 2016 last weekend. With this, Capcom came up with an idea of reviving some of the company's original game back to life.

Capcom mentioned that starting next year, they will be focusing on bringing back some of the most notable titles they have over the past years. They haven't mentioned any titles or any other information about their upcoming plans.

The Metro UK reported that Capcom already made a promise to the fans that they will be releasing a new "Marvel vs. Capcom" title. With the announcement of the release target year, fans got too excited as the developer launched the first trailer of the upcoming fighting game.

The "Marvel vs. Capcom" Infinite will feature a massive list of characters taken from Marvel and Capcom signature characters. An Assist feature was also added where a backup character will be called or summoned dealing massive damage with the use of a special skill along with the power of the Infinity Stones.

As of today, Capcom has just brought up the "Marvel vs. Capcom" Infinite as the first step of their revival campaign. The Infinite is the first entry after the release of the "Marvel vs. Capcom" Origins back in 2012. The game will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC with the release on the previous generation video game consoles.
